Police searching for persons of interest after Atlanta man dies from ‘scuffle’

ATLANTA — Atlanta police are looking for some men who may have been involved in a “scuffle” that cost one man his life.

Police say David Dominguez-Reyes suffered a “laceration to the head” on June 27 at a gas station on MLK Dr. NW. Ten days later, Dominguez-Reyes died from his injuries.

Investigators are now releasing surveillance video that shows men at the gas station the night Dominguez-Reyes was attacked.

Police believe a group of men beat and robbed Reyes.

Reyes’ mother was able to make it from Mexico in time to say a final goodbye.

Maria Guadalupe Reyes Sanchez told Channel 2 Action News she arrived to see her son take his last breath because he was disconnected from life support right before her eyes.
