ATLANTA — Atlanta police said that two people were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital early Sunday morning after two cars were found riddled with bullet holes in a southwest Atlanta apartment complex parking lot.

Police said they were called out to the Northside Plaza apartments around 3:30 a.m. Sunday for calls that two cars had been shot up.
Officers said once they got to the complex, they found one car with bullet holes and one victim, the other had left the scene. They found the second car with the other shooting victim a short distance away in the parking lot of a Burger King on Northside Drive.
They said both victims were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital. The victim at the Burger King was identified as a man who was shot in the face. The other victim was not identified.
Police said they recovered a gun at the apartment complex but did not say if it was used in the shooting.
