ATLANTA — Investigators are working to identify a woman found dead at Underground Atlanta.
They are trying to see which, if any, surveillance cameras are working.
Officers said they found a woman at the bottom of the steps at Underground Atlanta around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
She had injuries consistent with having been stabbed in the neck, according to police.
We have a reporter at the scene talking to police for updates on Channel 2 Action News.

“There’s nothing indicative that she was sexually assaulted,” Atlanta Police Lt. Charles Hampton said.
Hampton said investigators do not believe the woman was a stranger to the area.
“It appears she may be someone who frequents the area,” Hampton said.
He said the woman had a purse with her but there was no identification in it.
They believe she is in her mid 20s or early 30s.
Investigators do not have any witnesses or motive.
