ATLANTA — Storms with heavy rain and thunder moved through metro Atlanta Friday afternoon, downing trees and power lines.
Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan said some storms in metro Atlanta had winds that gusted up to 60 mph.
Monahan said the stormy pattern is likely to continue through the weekend.
