Before Tay Tay could be released back into the Florida waters, she needed to meet the necessary stipulation to ensure her long-term survival.

Regaining weight was the key factor to her release and after her successful stint as part of the Manatee Rescue & Rehabilitation Partnership, Tay Tay was released back into the ocean at the Tampa Electric Company Manatee Viewing Center with assistance from Zoo Tampa.
