ATLANTA — A second person has been charged in the case of a 6-month-old shot and killed in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting.
Grayson Matthew Fleming-Gray was killed Monday after someone shot into the car he was riding in with his mother on Anderson Avenue.
Sharice Ingram, 22, was arrested Wednesday and charged in connection with the infant’s death. Atlanta police said she turned herself in at their headquarters.
Police said she was the one driving the Jeep Cherokee at a high rate of speed Monday when her passenger, 22-year-old Dequaisie Little, fired multiple shots at another car, killing Grayson, who was in a car seat in his mother’s car.
Ingram is currently being held in the Fulton County Jail on charges of party to crime of felony murder and party to crime of aggravated assault.
Channel 2′s Tom Jones talked to Grayson’s mother, Kerri Gray, who said she is elated police have arrested two people in her son’s death.
“I am very grateful that two arrests have been made,” she said. “I am very grateful that these naive and misguided individuals are off the street.”
Still, Gray said she misses her son terribly.
“I still wake up to feed him,” she said.
Gray said there will be a public viewing for Grayson Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Willie Watkins Funeral Home on David Abernathy Boulevard. She wants people to come out and get to know her son, who was on the Earth such a short period of time.
She said she wants her son’s killers to face a stiff punishment.
“Whatever the max is, give them that and then some,” Gray said.

On Tuesday, Mayor Andre Dickens and Atlanta police announced that Dequasie Little, 22, had been arrested.
Little is charged with felony murder and aggravated assault with the intent to murder. Channel 2′s Michael Seiden learned the 22-year-old was already facing multiple violent felony charges since he turned 18, but he has never been convicted on any of the charges.
Atlanta Police Chief Rodney Bryant said they believe Little was the shooter, but more arrests were expected.
Grayson’s family has set up a fundraiser to help pay for his funeral expenses. Another GoFundMe account has also been set up to help the family.
