ATLANTA — Police say one person is recovering from being shot and a security guard is in custody after a shooting inside Greenbriar Mall, according to Atlanta police.
Channel 2′s Tyisha Fernandes has learned that one person was shot three times inside a phone store at the mall just before 3:30 p.m.

Investigators say a private security officer and the victim got into an argument that escalated to gunfire.
The security guard was detained at the scene. Police have not identified that person or commented on what charges could be filed.

Police say the victim survived the shooting, but have not commented on the extent of their injuries.
Fernandes says the mall has been shut down as police investigate.
