ATLANTA — Victim Jermaine Cobbs says he was shocked that someone broke into multiple storage units at the Public Storage location on Northside Drive.

Cobbs shared pictures of his unit that was pried open.

"Normally, you figure your stuff is secure inside the unit, but when you get it broken into and it's been forcibly broken into it's kind of disheartening," Cobbs said.

Management believes the thief is someone who rented a storage unit just to get through the gate with an access code.

Management says the man's storage unit was empty, but they saw he used his code to enter the grounds five times on the same day.

Cobbs and other victims had televisions, clothing and expensive purses stolen. They say renters should be aware and security needs to be improved.
