ATLANTA — It may not have been the way Atlanta Hawks fans wanted the season to end, but Thursday night’s playoff game also impacted Janet Jackson fans too.
Jackson’s “Together Again” tour was supposed to play its second performance Thursday night at State Farm Arena but got bumped after the Hawks beat the Celtics earlier in the week to push the series into a Game 6.
The Celtics won Thursday night (sorry Hawks fans) and after the game, forward-guard Jayson Tatum had a message for Ms. Jackson: I’m sorry!
"I want to send an apology to the legend @JanetJackson " 🤣

“I want to send an apology to the legend Janet Jackson. We were supposed to close out in Boston. She had to postpone her show. I hope she sees this. You know, I apologize for that,” Tatum said in a post-game interview on TNT.
Jackson’s second performance will be held Friday night at the arena. If you are headed to the show, make sure you leave early because traffic will likely be heavy in the area around State Farm Area because Taylor Swift is having a show at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
