The merch truck outside on International Plaza is already selling tour gear.
It opened at 10 a.m., but some got in line well before sunrise, and others were in their cars all night just to make sure they grabbed one specific item.
In the dark and drizzle of a lavender haze fans started lining up outside this tour merch trailer by 6 a.m.
“I kinda like it, really fun honestly. Love being here with all my fellow swifties,” Reese Becton said.
“To be here in this crowd of people who also love Taylor Swift like I do too,” Abbie Essery said.
“Kind of the only Taylor Swift experience we could have together. She’s going Friday night, I’m going Saturday night,” Caroline Sanders said.
Sanders and Abbie Essery became friends after each got tickets and bonded over it. Now, they have this memory.
“Isn’t the concert the experience? Yes, but this is also an experience. We’re going to be out here a very long time,” Essery said.
Shaking off the cold temps and rain, hundreds of fans waited patiently till 10 a.m. when the truck opened for business.

And fans have a blue crew in their wildest dreams. Swift’s tour sweatshirt went viral on TikTok.
It’s only available on the merch truck which makes this the item to buy.
“I want the sweatshirt, and it’s been selling out on Thursday. So, I have to be here. I’m skipping class for this,” Becton said.
For $65, the long sleeve crewneck has the name of the tour on the front, with concert venues and a list of Swift’s albums on the back.
“This was definitely worth the 6-hour wait in the cold and rain, but I love it,” Becton said. “I can’t wait to wear it. I’m going to sleep in it tonight.”

Friday night in downtown Atlanta will be packed. State Farm Arena hosts the Hawks playoff game Thursday night, moving the Janet Jackson concert to Friday, the same night as Taylor Swift.
Tens of thousands are expected for both shows but should be no ‘bad blood’ between them.
