ATLANTA — Thousands of people laced up their shoes today to raise money in the fight against breast cancer.
Organizers of the Susan G. Komen More than Pink walk estimate that about 3,000 walkers took part on Saturday near Lenox Square in Buckhead.

Channel 2′s Karyn Greer helped emcee the event and got in a little dancing as well.
One breast cancer survivor told Channel 2 Action News the support of family, friends and the community is priceless.

“It really does really take an army to get you through. I know not everyone has a big support system. It is critical and it really does help,” Gayla Love said.
This was the group’s first in-person walk since 2019.
