ATLANTA — Atlanta police are investigating after three people were shot Tuesday morning in southwest Atlanta.

Police said they were working two related scenes at Bent Creek Way and Campbellton Road. They said that it appeared that an attempted robbery happened during a drug deal.
Two people in a car were shot at by two suspects at the apartment as they drove away. The two men in the car were hit, and a third person shot was possibly one of the suspects, police said.
NewsChopper2 flew over The Park at Castleton apartment complex off Bent Creek Way and saw police working a taped off scene in the parking lot.
NewsChopper2 also saw police in the parking lot of a Chevron at the corner of Campbellton Road and Delowe Drive. Photos showed a car with bullet holes in the rear windows at the Chevron.
Police said the victims are expected to survive. There was no information available about the identities of the victims or any suspects.
A photographer at the scene saw a man being taken into custody. Police said he was believed to be one of the suspects. It was not clear what charges he may face.

Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
