ATLANTA — Sunday is the final day to sign up for the AJC Peachtree Road Race.
The AJC Peachtree Road Race has been an Atlanta tradition since 1970. The 10K race begins at Lenox Square and finishes in Piedmont Park, where finishers are handed this year’s race T-shirt.
The Atlanta Track Club is the second-largest running organization in the U.S., with over 30,000 members.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution says each year more than 50,000 people join the Peachtree Road Race on the Fourth of July.
The race is widely attended by runners from around the world.
It is now 75$ to sign up for the race as a non-Atlanta Track Club member. For Atlanta Track Club members it is 42$.
