ATLANTA — A top official in charge of overseeing election operations in Georgia is revealing new insight into his testimony before a Fulton County grand jury.

Gabriel Sterling testified in June about the infamous phone call with former President Donald Trump about “finding” Georgia votes in the 2020 election.

“I think most people in the room understood that the claims made by the Trump attorneys Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, they were bogus, that they weren’t real. They weren’t based in reality, I think that’s the vast majority of them,” Sterling said Wednesday.

Sterling’s testimony is part of the investigation into efforts to overturn the election.
