Traffic stop leads to 3 arrests, including suspect wanted for Atlanta murder

ATLANTA — A suspect wanted in connection to a 2024 Atlanta homicide was arrested last week.

On Dec. 26, Atlanta police conducted a traffic stop at a gas station off Bolton Road and James Jackson Parkway for traffic violations.

Before stopping the car, APD was notified that a passenger in the car may have an active warrant for a homicide. Once officers stopped the car, they explained the reason for the traffic stop.

The driver and two passengers were detained.

Later, APD identified one passenger, Felix Adams, as a suspect involved in the shooting that happened on Oct. 4, 2024, along Huff Road. Police said a car break-in suspect shot and killed a man.

Adams was charged with murder, aggravated assault and two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The driver, Adoffee Williams was arrested and charged with failure to obey a stop sign, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of marijuana. Williams also had an active warrant for cocaine possession.

The other passenger, Gortez Goolsby, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and weapons violations by a convicted felon.

The trio was booked into the Fulton County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
