ATLANTA — Atlanta Public Schools has released data on how many students have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 across APS schools.

The numbers are based on students five years old and older who are currently eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. Vaccination data is aggregated from the Georgia Registry of Immunization Transactions and Services as of Jan. 3. Schools that had ten or fewer vaccine-eligible students were excluded from the report.

The report reveals a vast range of percentages of students vaccinated, from 1% to 64%.

The data appears to show a sharp decrease in the vaccination rate among students in schools that are located in communities of color, particularly among elementary school students.
