The driver sped away from the scene and has still not been identified or caught.
The victim, Jeff Whitmire, told police that he attempted to flag down the driver to get him to stop when the driver plowed into him. Whitmire was taken to the hospital and is still recovering from his injuries.
Terrifying video shows the driver back into one SUV and sideswipe another before plowing directly into Whitmire, who then falls between the SUV’s tires. Whitmire was able to run away from the driver as other people rushed outside to try to stop the driver.

Whitmire said in a GoFundMe set up to help with his medical expenses that the driver hit his car.
“I went to meet a friend to play pool before work, a man whose identity has yet to be confirmed whom appeared to be under influence of drugs or alcohol got into his vehicle and proceeded to hit my car (white SUV) then back up and hit another vehicle before hitting mine again,” Whitmire said.
