We’ll ring in the New Year with much colder temps

Cloudy skies early Tuesday will give way to sunshine in the afternoon.

We’ll have mild temperatures again today in the 60s.

That will make things much cooler this evening and especially overnight.

We’ll start New Year’s Day with lows in the 30s and highs will only get up to near 50 degrees.

Conditions will remain mainly dry through Saturday with a chance of rain arriving on Sunday.

We can expect even colder air to arrive next week.
