Cold and cloudy today with lows in the teens tonight

ATLANTA — We’re one day removed from snow and the conditions it brought across the state of Georgia.

A winter storm warning expired at 7 a.m., Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Eboni Deon said.

Here’s what you should expect if you will be on the road today.

There is a reasonable expectation that black ice will be on the road this morning. To start your Saturday, we’ll start cloudy and cold with some flurries this morning.

Gusty winds could bring down more trees and cause additional power outages. Clouds will decrease with some afternoon sunshine and drying. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30s, which will allow for melting of ice.

Areas that remain wet will refreeze overnight Saturday to Sunday morning as temperatures drop into the teens and lower 20s.
