ATLANTA — A woman says her car has seen extensive damage by kids dropping rocks as she drove under a bridge.
She says she saw a group of boys on a bridge drop rocks as she drove underneath it on Camp Creek Parkway, causing massive damage to her car.
Latrina Brumfield told Channel 2′s Matt Johnson that she saw one rock narrowly miss her daughter in the back seat as several more rocks rained down in the broad daylight.

“If my daughter didn’t sit up she would have gotten hit in the back of the head,” she said. “Just a small rock caused all this damage.”
The rock was no bigger than a fist.
Brumfield was taking her daughter to dance class when they were startled by two rocks hitting the windshield seconds before one smashed through the back window, inches from her daughter.
“The rate that the rock was going, it could have killed her, and all they did was just run off and thought it was funny,” Brumfield explained.
She said the boys were no more than 10 or 11 years old.

Brumfield says it’s going to cost her at least $500 to get the windows replaced.
She says if the boys get caught, though, she doesn’t want them to be arrested. She wants police to help them find better ways to stay busy.
“If you don’t have nothing to do, you need to find something to do, hurting and harming people is not the way to go.”
