ATLANTA — Police say a woman was shot in a busy area of Buckhead after a man got into a fight with a security guard.
The shooting happened around 12:32 a.m. at 3186 Roswell Road, police said. The location is home to a strip of bars and nightclubs including the Lost Dog Tavern, Hide Kitchen & Cocktails, the Red Door Tavern and Dive Bar Buckhead.

Witnesses told police that several patrons were told to leave one of the bars when a man got into a fight with a security guard. Gunshots rang out and the suspect left the scene. It’s unclear how many people were shooting

A woman who was caught in the crossfire was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. The victim has not been identified.
Video posted to social media shows dozens of police cars on Roswell Road after the shooting.
Police say the suspect is a man with blonde dreads. Investigators are still working to identify him.
