ATLANTA — That time of year is here again! Saturday marked WSB-TV’s annual Stuff the Bus school supply drive to help kids in need across metro Atlanta get a good start to the school year.
Some of your favorite Channel 2 Action News personalities were at seven different locations across metro Atlanta with school buses ready to be filled with backpacks of school supplies.
WSB-TV and the Children’s Restoration Network are teaming up to make sure everyone starts the new school year on the right foot.
The metro Atlanta community showed up on Saturday in a big way and donated enough school supplies to fill up 1,596 backpacks! That’s 1,596 children across metro Atlanta who will have full backpacks on the first day of school over the next few weeks.
The 19th annual Stuff the Bus will benefit the Children’s Restoration Network, which serves 130 foster care and group homes.
If you weren’t able to make it out to one of our donation sites today, an online donation link will be active through July 30, 2022.
