BARROW COUNTY, Ga. — A 15-year-old girl who was severely injured in a pit bull attack got a huge show of support from her community as she was released from the hospital Saturday.
Joslyn Stinchcomb was walking through her Barrow County neighborhood in late July when two pit bulls jumped on her.
The dogs did severe damage to Stinchcomb’s airway and scalp, requiring multiple surgeries.

The teen spent over 80 days in the hospital but was released Saturday morning.
The community hosted a parade through town to welcome Stinchcomb home.
Channel 2 Action News was there Saturday morning as the teen rode in a fire truck and waved at well-wishers.
