BARROW COUNTY, Ga. — Students and staff at Apalachee High School are preparing to move into portable classrooms this week.
The trailers will be located just outside the school.
Students have been shuttling back and forth between two campuses since the deadly shooting there in September.

The school district closed off the hallway where the shooting occurred.
On Thursday, the district is allowing parents and students to tour the new classrooms.
The school board is considering various security upgrades and changes.
The community is expected to hear about those updates on Tuesday at the next school board meeting.
