CARTERSVILLE, Ga. — The Cartersville Fire Department said a 10-year-old boy died in a house fire overnight.
Firefighters said they were called to the home along Galway Drive around 3 a.m. Friday.
When firefighters arrived at the home, they said they found it fully engulfed in flames.

“It took more than 20 Firefighters to bring the fire under control, after battling flames for several hours using multiple pieces of equipment,” the Cartersville Fire Department said in a news release.
Investigators said that four people were home at the time of the fire, but only three made it out.
Firefighters said the boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
