BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. — Traffic had to be diverted off of Interstate 75 in Bartow County on Wednesday afternoon after a tractor-trailer crashed off an overpass bridge, damaging it.
A FedEx truck somehow lost control and went off the bridge.
All lanes of I-75 southbound had to be closed at Old Allatoona Road (Exit 283) for a couple of hours as crews cleaned up the mess.
All Sb lanes of I-75 are shut down at milepost 281 due to the wreck on the bridge. Southbound traffic is being diverted to exit 283. Expect significant delays in the area. @wbhfnews @dailytribnews @FOX5Atlanta @CBS46Traffic @WSBTraffic @11AliveTraffic @GADeptofTrans pic.twitter.com/eLabIFCGZH
