Be prepared: Strong, severe storms possible this weekend

ATLANTA — We’re almost to the weekend but we want to get you prepared for some storms that could be strong or severe.

For the last few days, Severe Weather Team 2 Brian Monahan has been tracking a front heading our way that could bring severe storms this weekend.

Much of metro Atlanta is under a Level 2 risk for severe weather, which includes heavy rain, strong wind gusts and isolated tornado risk.

You’ll want to be weather aware this weekend.
