Rain and thunderstorms have pushed out of Georgia Tuesday. But the main story now will be the falling temperatures and the gusty wind.
- Temperatures will drop to the 40s this afternoon. Highs this morning were in the 60s. This time yesterday, some areas hit 70 degrees.
- Wind chills will make it feel even colder.
- Clouds will decrease with a clearing sky overnight and temps dropping to near freezing

With the temperatures dropping, the city of Atlanta will open its warming center for the next two days.
Atlanta will open the Old Adamsville Recreation Center at 8 p.m, the city announced. It will remain open through Thursday morning.
The warming center is located at 3404 Delmar Lane in northwest Atlanta. Transportation will be provided to the center from Gateway Center, which offers services to homeless people.
