BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. — The community is remembering a Bartow County middle school teacher who died in a car crash Thursday morning.
Ginger Thompson taught business and computer science for 20 years at Cass Middle School. The district said she was killed in a 2-car crash, according to the Bartow County School System.
Counselors will speak to Thompson’s classes Friday morning and offer extra support for her co-workers and the community.

The district said Thompson was the biggest Georgia Bulldogs fan. But more importantly, she was the biggest fan of her students and they loved her back.
Thompson always had school spirit and always showed up at school events and 4-H competition.
“She was fiercely loyal to her school and students,” Cass Middle School Principal Kristy Arnold said. “She wanted to see them be successful. Cass Middle School won’t be the same without her.”
