GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. — Police say police shot and killed a man during a standoff in Gwinnett County Saturday morning.
Police said they were called to a domestic violence incident at a home on Bent Willow Drive after a neighbor called police. Officers found a female victim in the backyard. She was treated for injuries and taken from the scene. Her condition is unclear.
While officers were at the house, a man came out outside and brandished a gun. He then went back inside and barricaded himself in the home.

The Gwinnett County SWAT team was activated. Police that in the ensuing standoff, the suspect fired the gun multiple times while he was inside. He then came outside and shot at SWAT officers.
An officer returned fire and the suspect was shot and killed.
The suspect and the victim’s identities have not been released.
