ATLANTA — Authorities said they have arrested a suspect in three carjacking incidents in just 15 minutes this morning in Atlanta.
Police told Channel 2 Action News officers were called out to 652 Fraser Street SE at 10:13 a.m. in reference to a carjacking incident. Witnesses say a man tried to carjack at AT&T van. At 10:26 a.m., police said the man jumped out of the AT&T van and carjacked a Nissan Pathfinder at 777 Memorial Drive SE, taking that drive with him. Minutes later, he let the driver of the Pathfinder out and then carjacked a Volvo SUV at Moreland Avenue at Memorial Drive SE.
Police say he then tried to rob two pedestrians before driving onto I-75.

He was stopped in Cobb County by Georgia State Patrol and arrested.
No one was injured in the carjacking incidents.
