DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — DeKalb County police are investigating a crash that killed one person and critically injured another.
Triple Team Traffic’s Mike Shields reported new developments on the crash throughout Channel 2 Action News This Morning.
Shields first reported the crash when it happened around 4:15 a.m. in the westbound lanes near Wesley Chapel Road exit.
DeKalb County police said a driver lost control of the car, which overturned and rolled down an embankment.

Nine people were inside the car at the time of the crash. One person died and another person is listed in critical condition.
The other seven people did not have life-threatening injuries, according to police. The names of the victims have not been released.
DeKalb County police said the crash is still under investigation.
