CAROLL COUNTY, Ga. — The Georgia Department of Natural Resources has charged two suspects for illegally hunting in Carroll County.

According to officials, on Saturday evening, Game Warden Ryan Shorter, Corporal Zack Hardy, and Corporal Brock Hoyt were contacted by a landowner who made a complaint.
Officials tracked the two suspects hunting on a private gas line, the release stated.

The two suspects, identified as Devon Johnson and Dustin Youngblood, were charged with 11 state law violations.
The charges included hunting without permission, hunting without a license, hunting without a big game license, hunting without fluorescent orange, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a felony controlled substance (suspected heroin), and possession of drug-related objects.
