Deputies ID woman found wandering along road

CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. — UPDATE: The woman has been identified.

Carroll County sheriff’s officials are trying to identify a woman found walking along a road Wednesday afternoon.

She was found around 4 p.m. in the area of Roopville Veal Road near Hardy Road in Roopville.

Sheriff’s officials say the woman may be suffering from dementia and does not know her name, where she lives or where she came from.

She is wearing a zebra pattern shirt, grey sweatpants and jewelry on both hands.

She is receiving medical attention.
