COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — Police confirmed to Channel 2 Action News there is a third victim in Sunday's police chase and deadly crash.
Police say they have found the body of another child who was killed in the crash.
Channel 2's Tyisha Fernandes spoke to the family by phone Sunday.
They told Fernandes police found the third victim, a little girl named Layla Partridge.
Dorothy Wright, 75, and her two grandchildren, Cameron Cosner, 12, and Layla, 6, were heading to First Peter AME Church Sunday morning.
The trio never made it to the service because they were blindsided by a suspect who allegedly stole a black SUV from the Westin hotel in College Park.
Police chased him from College Park to southwest Atlanta.
The high-speed chase ended on South Gordon Street and Rogers Avenue.
"I saw that red car coming down the street minding their business and all the sudden I saw the black car run the stop sign right here and hit them, T-bone them," witness David Baird said.
Baird said paramedics tried to save the grandmother, but were unsuccessful.
He recalls seeing a car seat in the back of her red car.
"There (were) two children," Baird said. "All three of them are dead."
The suspect survived and ran from the scene before police arrived.
College Park police have turned the investigation over to the district attorney's office and the FBI to determine if officer's followed the department's chase policy.
