ATLANTA,None — Someone will be out $77 million if they do not claim their winning Powerball ticket purchased in Georgia.
According to the Georgia Lottery, the Powerball ticket was sold at the Pilot Travel Center on Georgia Highway 100 in Tallapoosa on June 29.
The winning ticket, bearing the numbers 24-30-45-57-59 and Powerball No. 26, must be claimed within 180 days, putting the deadline at Dec. 26.
The Georgia Lottery headquarters will be closed Friday through Monday, but the owner of the ticket can claim their prize at the Georgia Lottery kiosks at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.
The current Powerball jackpot is at $104 million. Mega millions has reached $173 million.
If the prize goes unclaimed, the Georgia Lottery said the funds will be returned proportionately to each participating state based on the state's sales for that drawing.
