2 wanted in connection to ‘serial gas station burglaries’ across north GA

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two persons of interest connected to a series of gas station burglaries.

According to the sheriff’s office, Monique Tucker and Sanquiez Deronte Lee are persons of interest in multiple gas station burglaries in the county, from October 2023 to September 2024.

Additionally, the two are believed to have been involved in similar crimes in three other counties: Douglas, Forsyth and Lumpkin.

The sheriff’s office said they’re believed to be driving a black 2013 Buick Enclave with a Georgia license plate reading SDL0124.

Both Tucker and Lee have active arrest warrants out of Lumpkin County and were last known to be near the west Atlanta area.
