Officers were first made aware of a viral social media post describing an incident of needle being found inside a Reese’s Take 5 candy bar. The post said another parent had experienced the same thing.
Investigators say both incidents happened in the Great Sky neighborhood off of Reservoir Drive.
Luckily, no children were injured and police have not received any other reports of tampered candy.
