Suspected meth dealers arrested in Walmart parking lot

Authorities arrested the women during an undercover operation in a Cherokee County Walmart parking lot.

CHEROKEE COUNTY, Ga. — Authorities arrested two suspected methamphetamine dealers during an undercover operation in a Cherokee County Walmart parking lot.

According to Cmdr. Phillip Price of the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad, Hannah Law and Katherine Young were arrested May 9 in the Walmart parking lot on Bells Ferry Road in unincorporated Woodstock.

Price said agents purchased 2 ounces of suspected methamphetamine from the women.

Young tried to fight with agents as she was taken into custody, according to Price.

Young, 27, is charged with trafficking methamphetamine and obstruction of an officer. Law, 23, is charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

Young and Law are being held without bond at the Cherokee ADC.
