Simmons was shot in the hand and elbow. He was treated at the hospital and released.

Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office investigators arrested Elijah Alexander Harrison, 17, at his home in Douglasville Thursday.

Investigators believe that after shooting broke out inside the home, Harrison fired a gun at least six times from a moving car.
Harrison has been charged with six counts of aggravated assault and criminal damage to property. He has not been charged in the shooting of Simmons or Andrews.
Deputies said they are still working to identify who shot the teens.
Harrison is being held without bond at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center.
