The 2025 season also marks the first time in a decade that the Alabama Crimson Tide has played in Athens. In the meantime, the Bulldogs are heading into the College Football Playoff.

After winning the SEC Championship at Mercedes-Benz Stadium last week and securing the No. 2 spot in the playoffs, the Dawgs earned a bye for the playoff’s first round. They’ll face the winner of the match-up between Notre Dame and Indiana in the quarterfinal Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.
