“The past five years at the University of Georgia have been nothing short of a dream come true and I will forever cherish the memories that have been made. Thank you Dawg Nation for the time I’ve been here and to those who’ve supported and believed in me, thank you,” he wrote.
Beck goes on to thank his teammates, coaching staff and Dawg Nation for believing in him.
“Football has taught me lessons that will last a lifetime and has grown me into the person I am today,” he wrote.
He spent two seasons leading the Bulldogs after Stetson Bennett led the team to back-to-back national championships.
His future with the team was up for debate with many unsure if he’d head to the NFL or try one more time to lead the team to a national championship since he’ll have to sit out these playoffs with an injury.
