CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Police in Clayton County are investigating a deadly shooting at a Family Dollar on Friday night.
Officers were called to the store on Riverdale Road where investigators say one person was shot and died from his or her injuries.

Family members told Channel 2′s Michael Doudna that the young man who was killed was dropped off at the store by his mother.
Moments later, someone walked into the store and shot him, those family members say.
Police appeared to be investigating inside the store, but have not confirmed if the shooting happened inside or in the parking lot.
Investigators say the suspect sped off in a dark-colored SUV. The shooter’s identity has not been released.

There is no official word on what led up to the shooting.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
