RIVERDALE, Ga. — Police in Clayton County are investigating a shooting that left one child dead.
Officers were called to the 6000 block of Westbury Road in Riverdale just after 5:15 p.m. in reference to a shooting.
Investigators determined that the shooting involved two juveniles.

An 11-year-old was shot and died from their injuries on the scene. Police have not yet released the identity of the child.
Police say the second juvenile involved was 12 years old. They have not commented on what involvement the second juvenile had.
Investigators are still working to learn what led up to the shooting.
