CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Willie Lee Wright is the number one most wanted man in Clayton County after he stabbed his wife multiple times, authorities say.
The sheriff’s department said officers were called to Lee’s Landing in Jonesboro this weekend and found a woman stabbed in the chest and neck. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Authorities later identified the woman’s husband, Wright, as the suspect. He was last seen leaving the scene in a black 2014 Honda Civic EX with Georgia license plate RHM6874.

Wright is 63 years old, is about 6 foot 2 inches tall and weighs just under 200 pounds.
Sheriff Victor Hill says Wright should be considered armed and dangerous. If you see him, you’re asked to call 911 immediately.
Hill said Wright has been placed at the top of the “top 10 most wanted” and has called in his elite Fugitive Squad to hunt for Wright.
