CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — Atlanta-based artist Usher is doing his part to make sure people in one metro Atlanta county don’t go hungry during the pandemic.

Channel 2′s Tom Jones talked to Usher, who is helping kids in Clayton County through his New Look foundation. The foundation has set up an emergency fund to provide youth with virtual classes, emergency financial assistance and mental health and wellness support.

Usher said he wanted to keep helping people during the coronavirus pandemic. Usher grew up in the metro Atlanta area.

He and volunteers from the foundation dropped off boxes of food at a Clayton County Schools warehouse Thursday.
