COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — Atlanta rap star Chris “Ludacris” Bridges helped out Santa Claus on Friday by bringing the holiday cheer to families in College Park weeks ahead of schedule.
A full 20 days before St. Nick goes a-sleighing, Ludacris, known for both his music career and for starring in the Fast and Furious films, held a pop up “Ludacrismas” event in College Park, helping 10 families celebrate the holidays with gifts, fun and good cheer.
The event was held at the Brady Center in College Park, where Ludacris passed out toys, wrapped gifts and presented his jolliest self for the families.
The “Ludacrismas” event shares its name with a song by the popular artist, originally written in 2007 for the movie Fred Claus, where Ludacris played DJ Donnie.
While the song itself didn’t make it into the final cut of the film, it still helped ring in a jolly good time on the movie’s original soundtrack.
