CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. — A Clayton County K-9 died after a medical emergency last week, police say.
At 2 p.m. on May 25, Wade suffered a medical emergency inside a patrol car while at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.
Officers rushed the K-9 to a nearby medical facility, where a veterinarian said the dog passed away.
It is unclear what the medical emergency was.

Wade was taken to a local veterinary school where police said he got a necropsy performed.
The Clayton County Police Department said it is continuing to investigate the death.
