Clayton County man with Alzheimer’s and dementia reported missing after argument

JONESBORO, Ga. — Clayton County police are searching for a missing man who has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.

Police say 78-year-old Edward Brown was last seen at 5 a.m. on Saturday leaving his house on Shawnee Drive in Jonesboro on foot. Investigators say he had just been involved in an argument, but did not comment on who else was involved.

Brown was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, blue jeans, brown hat, and gray tennis shoes. He is 6′2″ and approximately 160 pounds, according to police.
