“While I have worked tirelessly to enhance the equity and quality of education for students and their families, it is now time for me to end this journey and prepare for the next expedition on my path to new and different educational and experiential achievements,” Beasley said.
During his time as superintendent, Beasley said he worked to create safer schools for students, such as implementing body scanners at secondary schools, requiring students to use clear backpacks, and offering counselors as well as other resources for students.
Thank you to all for the kind words, emails, sentiments, and prayers for continued success on the journey as I prepare to transition from Clayton County as Superintendent. Its been an honor and privilege to serve this community. Looking forward to the next great adventure. 😊
